• Corpus Fund

    Corpus fund is considered to be the capital of the organisation. The fund is generated and kept by us for the sustenance and existence of the organisation. The Corpus Fund is of paramount importance to the organisation as it helps during the times of distress. Only the interest earned from it is accumulated or utilized for general purposes. We are currently trying to build a corpus fund of 12 months’ of expenditure of the organisation thereby ensuring a smooth sustenance. It will help reduce financial vulnerability and thereby help us achieve our goals.
  • During Diwali and Christmas, IDEA foundation provides festival dresses to children from less privileged / tribal background. It is really a pleasure to share the joy of our festivals with these children. Your donation will be used to buy a new festival dress for a child.
  • IDEA Foundation is supporting very poor and deserving children through our educational sponsorship program ( Unnati Program ). Presently 750 children are in IDEAs sponsorship program. Most of them are receiving aid from past 4 to 5 years. With the continuous support in the form of educational sponsorship, these children are passing with flying colors and going for higher studies. We want to support more children under our sponsorship program as the request for the same is ever increasing.
  • Computers and e-learning have promised to expand the basic nature of education, such as the ability to link written content with audio and visual material that can enrich the full range of the learner’s senses. The need for e learning is all the more important now. But access to computers and e-learning in marginalized communities and rural areas is either non-existent or very limited. During this pandemic all our classes have become virtual and smart phones are absolutely necessary for continuing education of children. Please help us to provide smart phones to underprivileged children.
  • General Fund

    General fund is created and maintained by our NGO to cover general expenses not specific to a project/cause/need. This helps cover expenses vital to the running of the organisation. Expenses such as additional administrative expenses or unexpected overheads are met with such general funds. Most NGOs maintain a general fund to help them meet the donation gap created when donors donate only to a specific project/cause/need or any unexpected expense which may arises during the course of running the organisation.
  • Under IDEA’s skill Development Program ( Ashakiran Program), various vocational courses such as basic and advanced tailoring classes, basic and advanced beauty care course, cooking and catering , bag making, art and craft etc are being conducted at Pune, Bhor, Bopkel, Ramnagar, Dighi and Vishranthawadi centers and are of three months duration. The courses are basically for the marginalised sections of society .Along with vocational training, the students will also receive digital and financial literacy sessions and Entrepreneurial Development programmes ( EDP training) . These courses have opened the doors for income generation for many women. IDEA supports them for self employment or job placement .
  • While working with underprivileged communities in rural and tribal areas near Pune, we also understood the necessity to make them aware of hygiene care. We conduct dental check-ups and anaemia detection camps regularly in these communities. Your donation will be used to buy a Hygiene kit consists of bath and washing soap, hand sanitizer, face mask, shampoo , hair oil, nail cutter, tooth paste and tooth brush.
  • The holistic development approach to education is creating a positive impact in our activities throughout the year. To nurture the child as a whole, the holistic approach encourages learning through engagement of the environment. As a part of this program ( Utkarsha program )IDEA Foundation arranges extra curricular activities in schools, art and craft classes, summer camps, field visits and one day picnics for children from marginalised communities.
  • Many daily wage earners are left jobless due to the CORONA virus pandemic. They are struggling to provide the basic necessities to their families. IDEA runs many developmental projects in various underprivileged /tribal/ migrant communities. We have identified a long list of such families from communities of Gopalvasti, Lamanvasti, Dighi and Bhor (Pune District, Maharashtra) and Kuttanad(Kerala). We are making direct bank transfers of Rs.2000/ to these families so that they can use it for purchasing grocery of their choice . Your donation of Rs. 2000/- can make a family survive during this pandemic.
