Project Ashakiran
Supported by All State Solutions Pvt. Ltd, project Ashakiran is an Integrated community development project through which IDEA runs study centres and educational sponsorship programmes for children and skill development training and Entrepreneurial Development Programme for women in Hadapsar, Pune.
Activities conducted under the project:
- Community based Study centres for children with focus on holistic development and enhancing their fundamental learning skills
- School/ college fee reimbursement and financial assistance for education of selected needy and deserving students
- Skill development courses in Tailoring and Beauty Parlour for underprivileged women
- EDP to encourage women to start their own business
- Life skill session and Exposure visits for all
Project Ashakiran, through its educational and skilling interventions for both children and women, is improving and empowering entire communities through its integrated approach.
