Under IDEA’s skill Development Program ( Ashakiran Program), various vocational courses such as basic and advanced tailoring classes, basic and advanced beauty care course, cooking and catering , bag making, art and craft etc are being conducted at Pune, Bhor, Bopkel, Ramnagar, Dighi and Vishranthawadi centers and are of three months duration. The courses are basically for the marginalised sections of society .Along with vocational training, the students will also receive digital and financial literacy sessions and Entrepreneurial Development programmes ( EDP training) . These courses have opened the doors for income generation for many women. IDEA supports them for self employment or job placement .
