Umang project Implemented by IDEA Foundation and supported by TATA Communications
Project Umang is an integrated Education and Employability initiative for children and women from neighborhood areas of TATA Communications Dighi, Pune, implemented by IDEA foundation and supported by TATA Communications. This project focuses upon key community needs identified – infrastructural development in schools, remedial classes, improvement in Anganwadis, Hygiene, Water and Sanitation, Digital Literacy, skill development and Entrepreneurship Development. The project’s target was to reach out to 1500 children across 4 schools and 600 women from 5 communities in Pune.
