Joy of learning Science and Maths
In partnership with Symantec, IDEA runs the project – Joy of learning Science and Maths in order to inculcate a love of the subjects in school going children through various educational aids. Currently this project is run in 3 study centres at Warje, Pune.
Activities under the project:
- Teaching Science and Maths to children studying between std. 5th and 7th, through various science kits and audio-visuals
- Exposure visits to Science parks and Planetariums
- Sessions by scientists to remove fear of the subjects
The project is helping children to develop a scientific temper and to experiment freely thereby inculcating a love for Science and Maths.
